COSTCO: KIRKLAND

PACKAGING / SCHOOL PROJECT

Costco was a collaborative project, with 4 team members. Our team worked together to develop the naming, identity,  and packaging for multiple branding strategies and price points. We targeted the demographic to include a younger audience, with products and styles geared toward people age 25 and over. Costco also needed to maintain the value and quality it is known for, while adding a modern flair in order to appeal to the

target demographic.

 

Kirkland is Costco's in-house brand. Our team divided the brand into 4 different categories, which represent the most popular products sold at Costco. While we maintained placement of the brand across the categories for consistency, we utilized different visual treatments for each category in order to give them their own character.
