To create a book based on a specific set of scientific data, I chose to base it on the topic of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). Patients with OCD deal with an imbalance in the neurotransmitters in the brain, called serontonin. The aesthetic style of the book was based on the idea of a synapse, which is the small gap over which those neurotransmitters travel.
